Ustādh Wasim Tarsissi
Ustādh Wasim Tarsissi is the co-founder of both Al Ikhlaas Academy and Sincere Counselling, and serves as a lead instructor and counsellor.He holds a Bachelor of Islamic Studies and a Bachelor of Counselling, and is currently completing a Master’s in Arabic Language and Education. He has studied across Egypt, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Saudi Arabia, and brings deep experience in teaching, mentoring youth, and delivering daʿwah in Western Sydney.Alongside his wife, he has been teaching and tutoring for over 15 years, combining authentic Islamic knowledge with modern educational and therapeutic tools, aiming to nurture faith, clarity, and strong character.

Ustādhah Mayssa Fawal is the co-founder of Sincere Counselling and Al Ikhlaas Academy, known for her deep compassion, insight, and structured educational style.She holds a Diploma and BA in Counselling, and is currently completing a Bachelor in Islamic Studies and a Master of Education. She has studied in Egypt and Malaysia, gaining valuable Islamic and educational perspectives.Together with her husband, she has been teaching and tutoring students for over 15 years, focusing on nurturing children, teens, and families with a faith-based and emotionally intelligent approach.

QUR’AN PROGRAM
Master Qur’an Recitation with Proper Tajwīd
We teach Qur’an with correct tajweed using the IQRA series for beginners and Juz-by-Juz memorisation for advanced students. Classes are available online and in-person, tailored for kids, teens, and adults.
ARABIC PROGRAM
Learn to Speak Arabic with Confidence & Connect with the Qur’an’s Language
Our Arabic curriculum is based on Al-ʿArabiyyah Bayna Yadayk, designed to build strong grammar, vocabulary, and conversation skills. Suitable for complete beginners or continuing learners of all ages.
ISLAMIC STUDIES PROGRAM
“Learn the Deen with Clarity, Purpose, and Structure”
We use Dr. Bilal Philips’ Islamic Studies curriculum to provide a structured and age-appropriate understanding of ʿAqeedah, Seerah, Hadith, Fiqh, and character development.In addition to our weekly classes, we also run regular short courses and workshops on important topics to support spiritual growth and real-life application — for youth, adults, and families.
